After completing my school, I gained admission in University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA to pursue Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Social Sciences & Communication. In that university I got chance to work together with great faculties whose outstanding instruction motivated me to pursue my higher education in Law. My urge and hard work paid off as I achieved admission in Southwestern University School of Law, Los Angeles, CA for Juris Doctor in Law. After my graduation I started my professional career to gain work experience.
At the beginning of my career I worked as Law Clerk for Los Angeles Superior Court where my main responsibilities involved researching and analyzing legal data, preparing legal memoranda and draft opinions, working under guidance of Lead Research Attorney, summarizing information for Judges, observing judicial proceedings, attending conferences with attorneys, assisting with Judge’s docket and caseload. This preliminary work exposure was very beneficial for me and in 2013 I joined Merit Pharmaceutical in the position of Vice-President to get better opportunity. In this company I have got scope to know about California and other state laws and Federal Law relating to the distribution of drugs, controlled substances, quality control systems; the United States Pharmacopoeia standards relating to the safe storage and handling of drugs. I have also got work exposure in sales and inventory management for prescription drugs, contract review, analyzing market and identifying opportunities. I have always wanted to be a lawyer who deals with Estate Planning. While working, I always seem to bring up estate planning to our many customers. During my professional career, I have realized that I shall perform better if I pursue higher study in Law from a reputed university. I would also like to know about changing laws of estate planning. This urge to delve into knowledge coupled with better career prospect has motivated me to pursue higher study in Law from your university.
