The prediction that Human Resource Management (HRM) shall evolve into a decision science based on talent from the current model where it supports services and program delivery to organizational clients. HRM will be a predictable event that will come true over a period of several years. The program will involve logical, deep, and coherent framework that links organizational talents to strategic success.
The evolution of HRM will be made possible by several things. First, the level of competition in business has intensified thereby demanding better HRM practices among organizations or related businesses. The management of human resource will need to match the talents of its Human Resource to the organizational needs and strategies for success.
The evolution of HRM into a science of managing talent will be aided by the technological innovations of the current and future times. The ability to monitor the performance of employees as well as systems to manage them will ease the handling of huge numbers of employees thereby enabling managers to perform quick, accurate, and meaningful assessments of HRM. The use of technology can also aid in matching the talents of different employees to specific needs and tasks. The deployment of employees into areas where they are most talented increases productivity and preparedness.
The matching of the diverse needs of a whole HRM team and the composition of the team shall be easy and accurate to prepare. The mix of the right levels of talent and number of employees in departments such as accounting and sales, finance and marketing shall be made accurately and effectively. When a business has the right, kind of “mix” it becomes easy to manage the talent and retain it for a long while.
The evolution of businesses into decision sciences based on talent away from one based on support for services and delivery of programs. The advancements in science, increasing competition in business and the need to manage talents shall require better management of employees for the future businesses.
