Every single tip in this paper is useful and interesting. In the “Not to Do” part I realized I have never used any of the wrong introductory methods except for “Announce your Intentions”. I always sensed that it feels weird but I never knew it is considered wrong in writing. I think maybe it emerges from the writers’s lack of self-confidence when they feel they have to express their intention to see how it sounds on paper.
