Research Question: What are the strategies for the development of creativity among kindergarten children?
Abstract: Free play and music are two predominant aspects for a successful development of the kindergarten children. Design of the correct curriculum for kindergarteners includes the formulation, construction, and implementation of miscellaneous developmental activities to allow for more free play and musical activities that can help ensure a positive collaborative environment. Given the importance of play and music in the discovery and development of creativity among the kindergarten children, the curriculum should be developed accordingly. All kindergarten teachers should undergo specific training on the ways of discovering and nurturing creativity and talent among the kindergarten children.
This research proposal has been developed specifically to define the strategies for the development of creativity among kindergarten children. To accomplish the goal, a quantitative research method with a survey-quiz for kindergarten teachers will be used. Teachers from Kiser PreK-8 School and Primary Village South Elementary School are anticipated to take part in the survey. Firstly, at PreK-8 School are five hundred and eight students, including teachers. Percentage of teachers with at least a Bachelor's Degree equals 100 percent; percentage of teachers with at least a Master's Degree equals 59.4 percent; whereas, percentage of the core academic subject and elementary classes not taught by highly qualified teachers is zero percent; but percentage of core academic subject and elementary classes taught by properly certified teachers is full 90 percent; lastly, percentage of the core academic subject elementary and secondary classes taught by teachers with temporary, conditional or long-term substitute certification/licensure is zero percent. Secondly, Primary Village South Elementary School hosts
seven hundred and six students, and twenty-nine teachers.
At this stage, I have experienced a limitation due to a delay in response from Principal to get permission for carrying out the survey-quiz.
