Good Essay About Pro Choice Abortion

Abortion has been one of the most debated topics of all time. Most people are usually against abortion because they believe that it is immoral. However, pro-choice supports abortion for several reasonable reasons.To start with, it is believed that every person has a right to their privacy. For this reason, every woman should have the freedom to decide what to do with their bodies. This indicates that if a woman gets pregnant, they should be allowed to decide to keep the baby abort it. Secondly, pro-choice also supports abortion, because not everyone gets pregnant out of their own free will. Some people get raped, hence they cannot afford to keep the pregnancy that reminds them of a painful experience (Baird and Rosenbaum, 2001).
Moreover, pro-choice also supports abortion, in the event where the victim is a young teenager and cannot support the child. In most cases, abortions are carried out by young teenagers who get pregnant unexpectedly. Such teenagers do not usually have jobs to keep the babies. They are usually under the care of their parents, hence it becomes hard to bring their babies up. In such a case abortion becomes the best reasonable option for them. In addition, pro-choice also supports abortion in the event where the life of the mother is at risk. Some mothers are usually at risk of losing their lives due to their pregnancy. In such a situation, the mother has a decide to either keep the baby and risk her life or abort the baby to be safe (Aptheker, 2006).
In conclusion, pro-choice support abortion for all the reasonable reasons. People should stop concluding that abortion is immoral because everyone needs to exercise their right to privacy.
