Introduction
According to the Stanford online encyclopedia of philosophy, colonialism is the situation in the society when one social group exercises domination over another social group by making them their subjects. In the ancient times, the Greek and the Romans set up territories out of their geographical boundaries where they exercised political control and economic control through the leadership of the royalty and the collection of taxes respectively.
