Supply chain refers to a network of a variety of entities, indirectly or directly interdependent and interlinked in serving the customers. Supply chains comprise of different vendors tasked with supplying raw materials, the producers whose role is converting the raw materials into the products, the warehouses, which facilitate the storing of the products, the centers of distribution, which deliver the products to the retailers, and the retailers whose role is bringing the products to different ultimate users.
