Christianity and Islam are fruits from the same tree because both of the theological philosophies value social services, and they urge their followers to save lives and respect people because the individual is the basic unit of the society. Every life is precious in the eyes of two leading religions on the face of Earth. The ancient Muslims led the rest of the planet towards developing modern medical principles. The role of Ali Seena and Jaabir Bin Heyan remained significant in terms of modernizing the chemical side of the science and developing surgical techniques respectively. However, the Muslims lost the way of humanitarian concerns, and started to follow the road of materialistic gains, and accumulation of wealth became a driving force the Muslims responded the most in recent times. The love of knowledge and scientific developed shifted hands, and with the passage of time, Europe and other developed parts of the world emerged as the centers of research and development in various fields such as medical science and arts as well. The Muslim nations continued to be impressed from the need to have more and more money, and socialistic dimensions of their religion consistently died out over the centuries. The western nations groomed the modernizing communal philosophies, and by the advent of early 1930s, the societies that are identified as the cream of all nations initiated to advance regarding various types of technologies. By the mid 1940s, the humanistic values became stronger than ever before as the economic conditions grew into adversities during tha time. The fiscal challenges of the 1940s brought the best out of western nations in general, and in Americans specifically. The teachings of Florence Nightingale were theoretical because she developed her nursing practices during Crimean War during the 1800s. The world did not understand the importance and value of her work. The advancement in psychology revealed a significant and powerful attribute of women that they can use in order to take care of others. The modern psychological studies of 1950s noticed the notable ability of practicing compassion, and transformed the field of nursing by educating the healthcare manager about the progressive role females can play in the profession of medicine by assisting the ill in the process of getting well. The soft touch of feminism impacted the profession of nursing positively, and therefore, nurses emerged as the central actors in the contemporary science of medicine. The empowerment of female in the area of healthcare gives the field a liberal look that was not taken well by the Islamic societies. The researchers did caution that males did not have the ability to perform nursing tasks because they lacked some fundamental attitudinal requirements of the work. The Islam in the past gave women basic civil rights, and they had the right to engage in war as helpers to the wounded during the times of Prophet Mohammad himself. The healthcare sciences changed into the defining chapter of policymaking that developed and advanced parts of the world have to craft in order to serve the needs of the public. The advanced societies of the world that follow Christianity took the lead in the fields of science and technology, but their Muslim counterparts urged to crate the system of governance that died out at least fourteen centuries ago. The Islamic states of the modern times are preserving the inhuman ways of life as if they were elementary principles of their religion. However, the Islam as a religion empowered every citizen of the state of Medina so that he or she can play his or her due societal role towards betterment of the community. The Islamic teachings wanted the females to cover their bodies when going outside, and during the time, when they have to face strange men even in the domestic settings of their homes as well. The Islamic scholars took the need of females to covering up their physics, and turned it against them in order to make them slaves in the era when everybody in the developed world is having the right and freedom to follow liberal sexual regimes such as lesbian and bisexual.
Catholic school of thought and Islam commonly argue that prayer has the power to heal the impossible diseases. The strength of faith allows the ill to give themselves to the divine powers, and the followers have to expect good from their spiritual leaders. The physical diseases have psychological reasons, and therefore, positive mindset goes a long way with reference to healing the suffering. Secondly, the role of healthcare professionals in promoting positivism in the diseased can make a lot of difference in this regard as well. However, Christians are ahead in the domain of spiritual healing, but Muslims have grown weaker regarding their faith in God because they do not work sincerely to help others heal, and they have the habit of overweighing their own needs against those of the others. The effective healthcare professional must behave otherwise as those of the developed world do.
The healthcare could not flourish in developing parts of the world that consider Islam as the most authentic theological way of life. According to the study of Hofstede in the subject of culture revealed that, countries of Islamic theological identity had a collective socal systems, and therefore, the needs of the many outweigh those of the few. In addition, the Islamist social systems bestow men with too much power in the relevant communities, and therefore, the needed roles of the women in healthcare failed to develop adequately in the present moments as well. The current Islamic theological background is not ready to accept the females in the role of healthcare manager that latest research in the area suggests irrefutably. The healthcare could not emerge in Islamic states because people over there do not know how to live for others, and that is why, the science of healthcare along with that of education has grown into a well established business systems rather than socialistic ones.
On the contrary, the Christian nations have applied the philosophy of Florence Nightingale, and developed her theories into practical concepts as well. The scientists of enlightened west do not respond with paranoia, and they do not reject the positivities that the research of old Islamic scholars had to offer. They developed and honed traditional techniques in order to conceptualize better and improved ones, and in the prevalent times, the Islamic states are not accepting healthcare standards because a female who was the English practicalized them so the Muslims have to reject the thoughts of an infidel. The Islam urges its followers to learn from everyone regardless of his or her racial, religious, and social status. Mohammad’s way only values knowledge, and if the Muslims are not learning then, they do not have the right and privilege to call them the nation of the greatest reformist the land of Arab has ever seen.
The westerners had learned from the Muslims when the latterly mentioned nation had the state of the art knowledge. Now, the literal tables are turned, and the former leaders in the field of epistemology had to sign up for the apparent disgraceful role of the followers in the race of educational, academic, and practical application of learning. The healthcare of Mohammad’s period was managed and ran by the females because they had to attend to the wounded in the field of battle. The Islamic prophet acknowledged the abilities of females that they can use in order to become a field medic according to the current standards of the medical field. In the light of abovementioned argument, one can infer that all of the resistance in Islamic societies towards empowering of women in order to develop them into medical professionals is absurd to say the least. The ways that Muslims are adamant to adopt in order to preserve Islam are not in agreement with the basic and elementary structure of the religion altogether.
Christianity shares the commandment that acknowledges the valuable contribution of social and medical services in the journey of improving lives of people with Islam, but the formerly highlighted religion takes lead in this regard, but the latterly discussed one is doing everything to avoid the golden teachings of their religious leaders. The Muslims want to follow their religion by letting go of basic humanistic concerns, and therefore, they are unfit to follow any theological belief system because all of them are directed to be followed by humans. It grieves one to say that Muslims do not qualify as humans after observing their behaviors that they adopt in the name of Islam. On the topic of female empowerment, historians have written that Islam acknowledged woman, as a sentient human being for the first time in the history of Arab, and those who are going against females by suppressing their fundamental civil rights are not Islamists at all. However, humanistic values overweigh those of theological ones, and therefore, those who are standing against development of nursing into a proper profession in Islamic states have nothing to do with the religion, and all they want to achieve is to preserve their social supremacy in the societies those are not enlightened enough to understand deeper realities of life. The powerful sects compromised the theoretical face of Islam in order to validate their social and racist lead over the others, and therefore, they are not letting anyone to develop political power because they are afraid that lower ranks of the society might sit with them in the palaces if the true Islamic teachings find their way in the society. The Islam in its original form is the most liberating religion one could come across, and the Quran addresses the humans in general most of the time. However, very infrequently, the script talks to believers in person. The Islam has a universal application across different cultures and nations as well. The advanced scholars in the field of religious studies pity Muslims who have a perfect book, but they are afraid of applying the knowledge embedded in the book.

This academic effort worked in order to highlight similarities and differences that are supposedly present in between Islam and Christianity regarding provision of healthcare services. The radicals in Islamic states are not against the healthcare, but they are not fans of women empowerment that might result in betterment of females in social terms. The males do not want their females to share the social power, and therefore, they create logic to reject modern healthcare practices because an infidel woman applied them in the historical times. The philosophy of Nightingale is greatly impressed with that of Islam as well so those who are working against the women are actually engaged against Islam in practical terms.
