Good Example Of Movie Review On Do The Right Thing

The whole action is happening in Bedford-Stuyvesant district of Brooklyn, one of the districts where mostly African-Americans live. The story is supported by the comments of Mister Senor Love Daddy, a radio DJ, whose station is also in the same district, right next to Famous Sal's Pizzeria and Korean shop. These places are the core point of life concentration of the district.
Sal owns this place for 25 years and considers himself as a part of the community. The citizens of the neighborhood grow up on his pizza, and unlike one of his sons, Pino, he loves his job and his pizzeria, as he crated it with his own hands. On one of the hottest summer days, one of the customers, Buggin' Out, raises a claim that he wants to see African-Americans on the Wall of Fame. Sal denies his claim which provokes Buggin' Out to look for likeminded people to put a boycott on Sal's place. Eventually he finds Radio Raheem, who is already upset that Sal asked him to turn down his music, and they go to the place to fight for their rights. The simple complaint turns into a huge fight, which later involves even those citizens who initially turned down the offer to be a part of the scandal. As a result Radio Raheem dies while the police officer tries to calm him down and arrest, and Sal's Pizzeria burns out while everyone is watching.
The movie ends with the citations of Martin Luther King and Malcolm X, who talk about violence, appealing to stop the aggression and listen to reason. In my opinion these quotations made an excellent emphasis to the told story, and left everyone who watched it with the intention to do tho right thing whenever there is a need to make such a choice.
