Industrial engineering is a fantastic major. I am interested in learning more about specific areas that can help expand my knowledge in this very challenging and rewarding field. Industrial engineering and mathematics have powerful connections with each other. Mathematics is a major part of various fields, such as industrial engineering, which mostly involves the application of numbers. I chose industrial engineering because it is fun and versatile, and utilizes much mathematics and science, thus opening up a diversity of career opportunities.
In fact, industrial engineering is fun and versatile, as it contains many types of plans on how to create technology. This major also does not just focus on mathematics or business; it ties together many majors such as finance, computer systems, economics, and management, which makes it perhaps the most versatile major. It is not restricted to just one way, or one option. Furthermore, during my years of studying concepts that are related to industrial engineering, I realized the need to find a way to apply the concepts that I have learned. One day, when I went to Six Flags, I saw a great facility that people enjoyed, and I asked how they did it. The management of Six Flags said that they used technology -- industrial and mechanical engineering to create great rides. It was incredible! In addition, industrial engineering utilizes a lot of mathematics, chemical engineering, law, and financial management. Actually, I like accounting. Therefore, this is the main reason I chose an industrial engineering major. Moreover, industrial engineering is concerned with obtaining the best production processes, as well as different manufacturing and improvement processes to produce high quality goods -- with less cost. I can personally state that I am talented in the field as I have already accomplished much relevant research applicable towards a master's degree program. I have been very interested in scientifically-related matters since I was young and my particular interest was never hindered by any means. During my years of study, I have also learned more about bachelor's degree matters, and its relevance to the world. For instance, the best, most-modern formula racecar in the world was created by an Emeritus bachelor student, using the industrial engineering method. In addition, the major opens up a diversity of career opportunities. Students who study industrial engineering are lucky because there are many kinds of jobs available. I have seen some students when they graduate with their major. Some of them have a difficult time getting a job -- with limited choices. Furthermore, I have some interpersonal skills that will enable me to work throughout the whole time if I am able to realize my goal of entering the program. I realize that I can work in many different jobs that I can choose from, or change my job. I believe that this university will join me in my quest for a better education, and will encourage the application of the learned academic principles and concepts of the program in order to obtain the job that I desire. Lastly, industrial engineering guarantees a good future for the student who works and studies hard. The discipline has transformed, and assisted technology improvement during the last decade. I continually search for new topics in the form of lectures and journals that will improve my critical thinking skills in this field. Mastery of these skills has become one of my primary, personal goals in the program. I believe that applying to this university will satisfy my personal goals as I study this major.
