Business Leadership and Gang of America

Path Goal Theory is also known as leader effectiveness theory in which the leader’s behavior is found to be contingent to the motivation, performance and satisfaction of his sub ordinates as well. Vroom’s Contingency theory on the other hand talks about situational leadership which means that it is contingent to the particular situation. Every model can be counterproductive over time because the situations, preferences of leaders, motivation and performance of subordinates and intensity of circumstances keep changing. They might work or fail badly. Most of the times, the decisions depend on the information provided or available to the “leader” which might or might not clarify the vision. Things become easier if the knowledge is first hand and interaction is direct. Therefore there is not just one model which could be considered as the universal key. It is often suggested to use the combination of different models and theories to avoid counter productiveness.

The modern age is the age of technology. The development in digital science has just taken over every aspect of life. It has granted luxury to mankind but it has also eased the crime activities. Contemporary gangs are so much stable and settled as compared to those in past. They rely more on technology than their members. Hacking, cybercrimes, blackmailing, kidnapping and many such activities are increasing day by day. It is so hard to investigate in such cases because they leave no evidence or clue unlike the old gang culture. The easy and cheap access to the technology and social media has granted a safe side to such evil minded person which wasn’t a trend in the past. They mostly use online tools to plan their activities.

Women activity in gangs is significantly increased over the past few decades, and it has widely been reported by the leading news organizations as well .

It is easier for them to pursue and convince the target.

People usually fall prey to their physical appearances. They can easily distract.
