Fair Treatment Essay Sample

One of the things most people would hate is to queue in the banks. On one eventful day, I rushed to the banks hoping to get some money from the ATM. As fate had it, I had forgotten my ATM at home. There being no any other option, I had to use the over the counter transaction. Unfortunately, when I got into the bank, there was a significantly long queue that I would have waited for twenty minutes. In the banking hall, I was the youngest. I was panicking as I had left my friends waiting for me and had not told them what had happened yet we had to travel for long, and it was getting late. One of the attendants got concerned and sent one of the employees to ask me why I was not settled. I just told him I was in a hurry as I had left some friends waiting for me and that we were to travel a bit too far. The employee requested permission from the others that I be served. Luckily, they all agreed in unison and even managed smiles. I felt very honored and respected by the good gesture the people showed.

Unfair treatment

When I worked in soup kiosk sometime back, I was caught up in road accident that delayed my arrival. Upon getting to the place of work, the manager was furious and did not want to listen to my pleas however genuine they were. At the end of the week, I learned that my wages had been slashed for a whole day without any explanation offered. Upon inquiry, the manager said that I had been penalized for lateness for a whole day. I was sad since the others would be listened to and not heavily fined even on flimsy grounds. Moreover, it was unfair for the manger to deduct payment for a whole day.
